All workshops are $20/class and may require an additional materials fee, and can be paid the day of.

Class Descriptions

Music Explorers! Has your child expressed an interest in music? This is an intro to music class. Here we begin our musical journey, with introductions to music, rhythm, pitch, movement and each week everyone gets to try a new instrument! This is in a fun social atmosphere, and focuses on more than learning music. We are continuously working on the human fundamentals through music; sharing, team work, and the goal is to help each child find an instrument that speaks to them. Each child will enjoy this class, meet new friends, and carry a new appreciation and knowledge of music.

Intro to Violin Group Class Classes are 1 hr, and we will learn all the basics in a fun social atmosphere. From holding the violin and bow, to learning our first songs! *After this group class is completed you will have the option to continue with private lessons or continue with Level 2 group class. *Child Prerequisite: must take Music Explorers before enrolling in this class (No prerequisite for Adults)

Music Theory: A mountain music classroom, for anyone who has not taken a Music Theory class. We’re starting from the beginning! You will learn the fundamentals of reading music and rhythms. *(applicable to any instrument)

Chamber Music Class max of 4. Study multiple pieces in a specific genre. We will learn about the history, composers, and experience the beauty in creating music with others. At the end of each session there will be a concert for friends & family.

Caring for your Instrument 101 Learn how to properly care, clean, change strings​, and successfully tune your instrument! (individual workshop for violin, guitar, banjo, mandolin)

Bluegrass Level 1 & 2 A true weekly woodshed. Have you been working on some tunes with the goal to join a bluegrass circle in your town or at a festival? This is for you, we’ll teach you how to “jam” and teach you new tunes in a supportive, relaxed atmosphere. Learn instrumental, vocal and chord progression
